What I’m Reading - 4/21/24
I’m on my third listening of The Tourtured Poets Department by Taylor Swift. How are my other swifties doing? Finding out this was a surprise double album made me very happy that I was on the West Coast.
Friday night, I listened again while reading the lyrics, and I’m just having this third one in the background. I wouldn’t say Fortnight - the first song and single - is my top favorite, but I also found myself humming it while getting ready today, so it’s clearly growing on me.
At 31 songs, it’s going to take me awhile to process all of this. I'm trying not to spend all weekend just going down the rabbit hole of all things Taylor online, especially with it being such a beautiful weekend in San Francisco. I met some friends for brunch yesterday and plan on having lots of solo time to write and chill. I find I need more alone time the older I get to recharge.
I hope you have a great Sunday!
