A time to rest, reflect and say thank you
It’s been a crazy few weeks that people will spend years analyzing. Make sure to take care of yourself.
So much has happened in the last three weeks. Everyone I know - including myself - is pretty exhausted. Just look at how many links to stories and things to read that I have below.
Thus, I decided I’m not going to stress myself out this week trying to make sense of any of it. Instead, I’m going to give myself a break to go put up holiday decorations and work my way through some of this reading. I encourage you to do the same.
For those of you looking for jobs and/or impacted by the layoffs, I’ve put more links than usual in the jobs section along with some resources people have set up to help those affected. I’ll try to make this more robust going forward.
As we go into Thanksgiving, however, I do want to say thank you. Every week I hear from some of you about how much you like this newsletter. That means so much to me and I really enjoy putting it together. I am starting to plan out what I’d like to do here in 2023 so if you have any ideas of what you’d like to see please let me know! I’ll probably do a survey in the coming weeks to try to get more of a sense of what you all might like.
Take care of yourselves and Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the states.
