How I Use AI to Work Smarter (And Save Time)
From helping me with my schedule to background research, AI is giving me more time back in my day and allowing me to do more, faster
I'm not exaggerating when I say that AI has revolutionized my productivity in the last few months. What used to take me hours now takes minutes—I've reclaimed at least 10 hours weekly by offloading specific tasks to AI tools. The results aren't just faster; they're often better than what I produced before.
Over the last year, I've found myself increasingly turning to ChatGPT and other AI tools not just as assistants, but as thinking partners—especially when my brain is juggling too many tabs at once. Shifting my work habits hasn't been easy (and there's still a learning curve), but here's where AI has already made the biggest difference in how I work:
1. Getting a grip on my schedule and priorities
When my to-do list is overflowing, I drop it into ChatGPT—along with any deadlines and constraints—and it helps me sort, cluster, and prioritize. It often spots patterns I miss, like grouping together deep work blocks or low-energy tasks. I've also started using it to plan ideal weekly schedules, time blocks and content calendars.
