We’ve seen a lot of company leaders speaking publicly lately - but some in very different ways

Hello from sunny Miami. ☀️ I’m finally taking a mini-vacation - well, trying to - for a friend’s birthday. Right now, I’m at my hotel pool with my French press ☕ (yes, I’m now that person who travels with her own coffee setup #noapologies) and working on this newsletter.

My insulated French press by the pool in Miami.

I thought about taking this whole week off, but I’ve also been thinking a lot about what brings me joy. The solar eclipse was last night, which brings about a period of letting go of the past and writing a different story. This has me thinking about what things I enjoy working on and where I want to spend my time. Where I need more change, more balance.

One thing that keeps speaking to me is that I want to create. This newsletter is one of those creations, so I’m not taking the whole week off. I’m starting to plan out some possible podcasts. I’m thinking about what other things I might do. If you have thoughts/advice, please let me know!

Today’s newsletter is for paid subscribers. I’ve found it interesting over the last couple of months how many tech CEOs are out doing press or speaking publicly in various ways. Some are getting more attention than others. Many of them are talking about AI, but not all of them. What you’ll find below is my roundup of the latest CEO activities.

Are you not a paid subscriber yet? Please consider upgrading today. For $50 a year or $5 a month, you will get two newsletters per week and full access to the archives. You’ll also be supporting me to do more research and writing.
