What I’m Reading - 11/26/23
Grateful for your support and the launch of the Panic Responsibly merch store
I hope everyone celebrating Thanksgiving in the United States had a lovely time off. Before I go any further, I want to say how grateful I am for each and every one of you. Anytime I’m starting to wonder if doing this is worth it, one of you tells me out of the blue how much you enjoy the newsletter. None of you have to do that, but it gives me such a boost when you do. Thank you for reading and engaging. I appreciate it.
For me, I’m back on the shore after doing Friendsgiving in DC. It was a fantastic day with a surprise win by the Packers over the Lions, a delicious dinner, and an impromptu dance party in the living room.
Can you guess what my job was for Thanksgiving dinner?
Now, I’m taking a few days to myself. I’m so tired, and I forced myself to spend Friday afternoon getting what I needed to so I could enjoy the weekend by reading and doing some longer-term thinking. I’ve also been playing around with making some of my own GPTs and using ChatGPT for everything from helping me make a schedule for the weekend to analyzing my Substack stats. I’ve made a GPT trained with all of my newsletters, but now I’m trying to figure out the types of questions I want to ask it! I also have a few decisions to make in the near future, and I want to zone out to think about what I want out of the next two years. Sorry for being vague, but more to come!
I wrote the above on Friday, and now that it is Saturday night, it turns out I’m bad at sitting still. 😲 Just in time for the holidays, it’s the Panic Responsibly merch store!
I’m trying a print-on-demand site called Printful for the first time (they are who Squarespace recommended), so I’m starting with a limited number of products until I can get some samples. Let me know if there’s something you want, as it’s pretty easy to add new products. Also, in celebration of getting this launched, you can get 15 percent off if you use the code HOLIDAY23. Start shopping now!
PS: Please let me know if you run into any issues by just responding to this newsletter.
It’s lighter on the links this week due to the holiday.
Have a great Sunday! We’re back this week with our regularly scheduled postings.
