What I'm Reading - 11/3/24
I haven’t fully wrapped my head around Tuesday being Election Day here in the United States. It’s a nail-biter. Last week, I started my tradition of watching West Wing from the very beginning at night to avoid having cable news on 24/7.
I embarked on another one of my election-time traditions/recommendations to folks: booking something to look forward to after this is all over.
’s Relais de Camont in southern France has been on my mind for well over a year. I felt strongly that I needed to go there for two weeks to write. I made that a reality this past week by booking two weeks in February to work on the book and probably a few other creative projects. I mean, look how beautiful this is.Her substack,
, is one of my must-reads. It’s a lovely escape to cooking in France. One last thing before I let you get on with your weekend. This is just a heads-up that I’m unsure yet what this week’s Wednesday newsletter or Thursday’s podcast will look like. I’m going to play it by ear, depending on how Tuesday goes. We do have a new podcast on Monday with Maria Giannopolis about her time at Google and running digital at the Republican National Convention.
Have a great Sunday!
