What I'm Reading - 9/15/24
I have a problem with cramming too much into a short period, but somehow, I manage to make it all work.
This was the only week of the month that I was in DC. But first, after Paris, I flew to New York City, where I got off the plane and headed to the Paley Museum to see their exhibition celebrating the 25th anniversary of the show West Wing. It was a small exhibit but so cool. They had all sorts of props, including CJ Cregg’s podium.
I was in New York to tape a special for PBS that will air this Friday, September 20th, at 9 p.m. Eastern. Twelve of us were brought together to debate a hypothetical scenario based on actual events. The show is Deadlock and will be opened by Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Amy Coney Barrett. (I did not get to meet them as they taped separately.)
Then I headed back to DC. Later today, I fly to Minot, North Dakota, where I am meeting up with my dad and some of his friends to go duck hunting in Leoville, Saskatchewan.
Hope you have a great Sunday!
