Not surprisingly, the Fall is going to be dominated in the tech world by AI. That could certainly change, but we’ve got plenty of activity coming up between more hearings in Congress, the tech leaders summit Schumer is hosting, and the UK summit in November.

But I guess my takeaway is that with its unelected House of Lords and the prospect of legislation being in the "King's Speech", you see a medieval system of governance trying to deal with 21st century issues around technology and surveillance. Not a happy sight.
